Dear friends and family,

Thank you so much for celebrating our marriage with us! We feel overwhelmed by how each of you have supported us with your love, generosity, and creativity. It is a true honor to receive the heartfelt blessing of such an incredible company. We look forward to growing our relationships with each of you in years to come.

Also, as promised, we've posted the wedding pictures online (huge thanks to Rachel Bayne for doing a phenomenal job).

May the Peace of Christ go with you,

Daniel and Elizabeth Nelson

P.S. If you'd like to keep track of us, we just setup a long-term blog home that we'll each be posting to. The address is: http://danielandliznelson.blogspot.com

Hello Friends,

Thanks for stopping by. As you've probably heard, we're getting married! We’re so excited to share some of the journey that has brought us here with you.

Our story
Our story begins with a beautiful young girl and a mischievous boy scrambling up mountainsides, getting stuck in the mudflats, and drinking chai tea out of a Nalgene under the full moon. In the midst of the beauty and adventures, we baffled each other. It seemed like a mysterious impossibility, how in one moment we could be deepest kindred spirits and in the next we could be each other's complete enigma. We were slow to see it coming, but soon our deep friendship grew into a romance. Now we each have the honor of marrying our best friend.

Why the woods?
In celebrating our marriage, we want to bring you into the greatest cathedral we know—somewhere we have met God and have experienced untold beauty. There will probably be bugs and sticks—maybe even rain, but that's part of the life that we live and want to celebrate with you.

Looking forward
Looking forward, we’re wrestling to find the life and calling our Heavenly Father has for us together. We're both students at the University of Washington with a little over a year left of international studies for Liz and visual arts for Daniel. As we continue here, we covet your prayers over us and the city. Seattle comes with some major challenges--expensive housing, scattered community and elusive solitude each take their toll. We’re excited, but we know we can’t do it alone. We are so thankful for each of you and the roles you have played in our lives. This story isn't just ours - you are woven into it as well.

So now, it's our honor to welcome you not just to our wedding celebration, but to be a part of our new life together. We hope you can make it!

Please RSVP to daniel.liz.nelson@gmail.com or call 360.220.9027 (Liz's phone).

Much love,
Daniel and Liz
